The Level 5 Programme for Support Staff

A total of 8 modules at FETAC Level 5 are necessary to attain a FETAC Level 5 award. 5 of these are Core Modules for all Support Staff.

These are as follows :

• Communications
• Care Support
• Infection Prevention and Control
• Workplace Statutory Policies & Procedures
• Work Experience

3 role-specific/elective modules are also required. Support Staff will discuss the most appropriate choice of modules, in cases where they have a choice, with their Human Resources Department/Training Manager/Line Manager.
